Julia ·

The catalog kicks off the month with new titles for different types of players, including highly anticipated releases, co-op experiences, and even a few classics that are on their way out.

If you've been waiting for a good excuse to update your gaming backlog, here it is! Xbox has revealed the first wave of November additions to Game Pass, and there's plenty to keep an eye on over the coming weeks.

One of the highlights is Vampire Crawlers, from the creators of Vampire Survivors. The game combines dungeon exploration, deck-building, and combat. Starting November 4, it will also join the Premium plan, having already been available to Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.

Another release worth checking out is Void/Breaker, a roguelike FPS in which players must escape a loop controlled by a hostile artificial intelligence. The game reaches its full 1.0 release this Wednesday (4), available on Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass.

For those who prefer playing with company, Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School arrives on November 5. The sequel features open-world escape rooms and lets players solve puzzles together, both online and in local co-op.

And the list goes on! Here are some of the upcoming highlights:

  • Nov. 10 – Warhammer Survivors: bullet-heaven action featuring characters and creatures from the Warhammer universe (Ultimate and PC Game Pass).

  • Nov. 11 – Thronefall: build your kingdom by day and defend your fortress by night (Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass).

  • Nov. 12 – John Carpenter's Toxic Commando: team up with up to four players to take on hordes of zombies in a co-op adventure (Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass).

  • Nov. 17 – Aphelion: a sci-fi adventure developed by DON'T NOD (coming to Premium, already available on Ultimate and PC Game Pass).

But heads up: some games are also leaving the catalog!

On November 15, 13 titles will be removed, including Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, GoldenEye 007, Wreckfest, Moonlighter, and 1000xRESIST. So if any of these are still sitting in your backlog, now's the time to jump in!

The good news is that there's more to come this month, including classics like Banjo-Kazooie, Perfect Dark, and Viva Piñata, which will join the Game Pass Essential library on November 15.

Now we want to know: which of these games has already made it onto your download list? And which one do you think deserves the most attention from the community?
